Past Eurovision Song contest Holland participated with a country song  by The Common Linnets called Calm After The Storm. Country music always takes me back to the time I was 14 years old and I was invited to join a practice of  the school live music band.

 I jumped up and down over the moon so happy convinced I was invited because I could sing so nice….. little did I know .. I was invited to make the choreography  of the lead singer and teach her how to make her steps while she was singing.

Blue Bayou the song the school band was playing on our school dance makes me sing our loud every time I hear it over the radio now.

 

I feel so bad I got a worried mind

I’m so lonesome all the time

Since I left my baby behind

I am over it .. really….  my singing voice sucks I know  a singing career is not mend to be…. But I can keep on dreaming can’t I ? At least my avie can hold a guitar like she knows what she is doing.

Inka Mexicola skin designer of { essences. } made beautiful new skins with new skin tones. Today I am showing you Jamie {medium 02}  and it comes in a dark and pale skin tone as well. I love the  eyebrow options in different colors to match my second life wigs.
The wet look hair is from *ARGRACE* and is called Hikari and the hairband is from =Zenith= For the bikini from DRIFT and for the water drops on my skin from Izzie’s you need to go to TDR FUSION

Location : *Baja Norte* I think the most famous beach area in second life. It does not matter on what time ,  there are  always visitors exploring the place. *Baja Norte* group members have rez rights there is a small joining fee but that is for sim support to keep the place open. If and when you take pictures yourself there is a Flickr group as well to leave you pictures.

№ 860 MORE PLACES TO VISIT

Monday not my favorite day of the week that is for sure.  I am always  a slow starter in the morning but Monday mornings are the worst. This day was no different so to late at the office and that was the tune I danced my whole day on. Late … late .. late and oohhh yes by the way  you are to late …
So back to the relax mode … breath in ….. breath out ……

In search of more Picture Perfect Places I found myself a new one , well at least for me this spot is new. It is called Dawn of Radiance  owner and creator silvermoon Fairey and she is a  blogger as well. I love the way she decorated the place with hidden spots, a country side look and feel with a tough of magic.  Sim description  in the land mark profile , and I quote  :

                                            “The dawn has come
                                            And the wine will run
                                      And the song must be sung
                                       And the flowers are melting
                                                    In the sun”

No rez rights for regular visitors but they are open for the  Dawn of Radiance Photographers group members. There is no fee to join but all donations will be very much appreciated to keep this place open for public. Because of all the hidden , secret spots witch are all  perfect I rate this place ✭✭✭✭✭+  on my Picture Perfect Place scale.

Because my long bloggers to do list 2 posts today. While I was exploring  :nostos:dear: & *Little Hopper*  I made some fashion pictures as well.

Love Foxdale the talented skin creator of **SHINE** skins made a flawless new skin line called Amber and I am showing Pale with the Smokey Eyes.

Shirt and shorts  are from DRIFT  the Hangover shirt and the Solstice Shorts.

Hair is made by  Kuranosuke Kamachi hair designer of =DeLa*=  and it is called  “Candice”

Last to mention are the killer shoes made by Leri Miles  from  [LMD] ,the shoes come in many different colors and are made for the Slink high feet and are called Beth and I am wearing the tropical color.

This Sunday’s post is a second life traveling post.
I went to :nostos:deer & *Little Hopper* .  owned by dora Nacht & hide Mint where you can see  light snowfall and a beach  with a Winter feeling. There is a tram rails running trough the dune area and there are beautiful far sides, nice walking paths with a cute little church on top of the hill. I know this place for a long time and  I keep comign back to it.

This Monday post is all about music . The Hottie Cooterati Experiance opened their virtual doors of The Rhapsody. Some of the top designers of second life giving their look on music in different genres. Pop , Country , Classic Rock , Metal , Jazz , Electronic , Disco  and there is a sponsors area at landing point. Mina Nakamura  from MINA Hair  made this great hair called Sid in the music genre Punk and the first person I thought about was Eva Simons a Dutch singer song writer who has this hair style as one of her trade marks for years now.

For this photo shoot I went to the *StoryBrooke Gardens* part of the *Baja Norte* sim and this place is a magical wonder land. Great on the details, a little piece of fairy tale in action. If and when you are a group member off *Baja Norte*  you got rez rights there but also here in the  forest of wonders. There is a Flickr group where you can see how other people had their magical moments and you can post yours as well. № 854 SANTAURIO

On one of  my daily second life journeys I ended up @ ~ Santaurio ~ a tropical island with a twist. When I think of tropical islands I think of white sandy beaches and palm trees and if you need those for a photoshoot this is the place to be but .. there is more to find here.
The landing point is right in a crashed airplane  on the shore line. Don’t want that to happen to me in real life but in here a twisted location for a photo shoot. There are crates and luggage  floating in the water and there are mesh body’s laying on the wing of the plain and some are still in the passenger seats. Very realistic and there for picture perfect.
There is more to see but I am not going to tell you all so you have the change to discover yourself the hidden treasures of this Island.
For those who are photographers yourself and want the opportunity to rez pose balls and  props or if  you want to be part of the Santaurio group there is a fee to join of L$300.
With this they support the sim to keep it open as long as possible, other donations with be appreciated  as well.

№ 853 EXPLORING *FRISLAND*

 

The last day of my rl vacation so I took  a trip to the sl place called *Frisland*.

This is an open place for all people that love to relax in a beautiful environment on a sim where time stands still. Frisland was designed for photographers and explorers based upon the idea of a phantom island in the North Atlantic that appeared on lots of maps during the 16th and 17th centuries.

No rez rights only to group members. If you want to be a member of the Frisland group sent a request to  the owners of  the sim :  Charlie Namiboo, Annabell Barzane or Frislanda Ferraris so they can add you. Have respect for the fact they give you the rights to rez pose balls and props and clean after you are done.

There is a *Frisland* Flickr group where you can add your pictures taken at this beautiful place

Because of the rez rights and also because of the fact the that *Frisland* is a complete sim with an old school building , small church , beach area and much more I rate this sim ✭✭✭✭✭+  on the Picture Perfect Places scale.

№ 851 FORGOTTEN CITY

 

Having a new computer does wonders for sure. I see things way better and I can see things far away as well !! For that reason I hopped from one sim to the other  the past week , did some serious sightseeing and acted like a second life tourist. For all the creators and sim designers out there I take a deep bow and give a standing ovation, you all are doing an amazing job and all of you are an inspiration to me.

For this photo shoot I travelled to  the Forgotten City the landmark profile says ( and I quote ) :

 “A once great city where the prosperous residents were served by the miraculous mechanical automatons. The people have long since disappeared, but the automatons remained and still take care of the crumbling stone walls, abandoned halls and rusty fences.”

This amazing city is build in different levels with great views over the rest of the city. The buildings are very well made and the textures are  high quality. The look and feel is of an ancient Greek city and you can walk around for hours and still find picture perfect places.
Rez rights are open for public without group space needed so you can use pose balls and pose props for your pictures. Because of all this I rate this sim on my picture perfect place scale ✭✭✭✭✭+
